Pretium Token ($PRT) is how we recognize your participation in the Pretium ecosystem. When you pay bills, send money, or settle transactions through Pretium, you earn credits that can be redeemed by minting $PRT on-chain.
1. How you earn credits
Every payment you make on Pretium earns you credits — 0.1% of the transaction value in USD. The more you use Pretium for everyday payments, the more credits you accumulate over time.
2. Redeeming credits for $PRT
Credits can be redeemed by minting Pretium Tokens ($PRT). Each mint creates an on-chain record tied to your wallet, reflecting your usage and contribution to the Pretium ecosystem.

3. Current status
For now, $PRT has no monetary value or utility. It simply serves as an on-chain record of your usage and contribution to the Pretium ecosystem — a transparent ledger of your activity on the platform.
$PRT is not an investment product, is not traded on exchanges, and should not be treated as having financial value at this stage.
4. What's next
This is just the beginning. At a later stage, we'll let the community decide what $PRT should unlock — from governance participation to potentially using your on-chain usage history as a credit score for soft loans and other community-driven benefits.
